Yoga evolved over many years as a way in which to support us to meditate. By developing this language (the asanas) as a way of speaking to our bodies, we could meditate more deeply and thus learn to relate to our bodies and eachother with kindness and gratitude. These founding principles can be worked towards by engaging in all types of yoga, from wherever you are - just by enjoying what you're doing.
Traditionally, yoga is a land based practice and is about connecting with the earth beneath our feet.
I teach a number of land yoga classes and courses by private arrangement. Upon request, I can create yoga experiences for parties, hen parties and team away days.
